Agreement

By downloading or using Card Coin (the “App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What the App is

Card Coin helps you look up approximate market values for Pokémon TCG and sports cards using AI estimates only. There is no bring-your-own-key (BYOK) path for third-party market APIs. For personal hobby use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Optional Scan to fill uses on-device text recognition from a photo you take or choose to suggest form fields (name, set, year, etc.). OCR can be incomplete or wrong — always review fields before searching. Scan images are not uploaded to Card Coin for OCR.

Optional AI model quality lets you select relative model strength for estimates. Higher quality may use more free-tier quota or take longer; availability and tiers may change.

Not advice

Estimates are informational only. They are not formal appraisals, guarantees of sale price, or investment, tax, or insurance advice. Always verify before buying or selling.

AI estimates

Results are non-deterministic guesstimates
Free-tier usage is rate- or quota-limited on a rolling ~30-day window
Models, quality tiers, limits, and availability may change without notice

Acceptable use

Do not abuse or reverse-engineer the AI backend beyond normal App use, bypass quotas, or use the App to violate law or third-party rights.

Intellectual property & trademarks

Card names, set names, player names, and similar terms may be trademarks of their respective owners. Card Coin is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, any sports league or team, or any grading company.

Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant accuracy of any estimate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Total liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts you paid us for the App in the prior 12 months (if any) or USD $25.
